Volleyball Recap: Excelsior Classical Academy's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

If Excelsior Classical Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Washington County on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Flying Lions came up short against the Bear Grass Charter Bears on Tuesday, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Flying Lions haven't been shut out since back in September.

Excelsior Classical Academy may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 20 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Their offense was headlined by Juniper Wells and Stephanie Llanas Tavera, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Alejandra Orozco and her eight assists.
