The matchup between Mitchell County and Miller County on Friday hardly resembled the 8-7 effort from their previous meeting. The Eagles walked away with a 36-25 win over the Pirates. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Jonathan Isom looked great while leading his team to the win, picking up 147 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Mitchell County's record is now 5-2. As for Miller County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Mitchell County will head out on the road to face off against Early County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats' defense has only allowed 14.5 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Miller County, they will host Pelham at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.13 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
