Recap: Winona Wildcats vs. Maud Cardinals
The Winona Wildcats lost against the Maud Cardinals back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Winona took a 41-22 bruising from Maud. Winona has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Maud to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mallorie Bishop, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Osborne , who scored 10 points.
Winona's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Maud, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winona will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mineola at 6:15 p.m. on December 19th. As for Maud, they will head out on the road to face off against Pewitt at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
