Softball Recap: King Brahmas vs. Robstown Cottonpickers

King extended their losing streak to nine on Tuesday, dropping them down to 12-19. They came up short against the Robstown Cottonpickers, falling 16-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cottonpickers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-10 back in March.

As for Robstown, they now have a winning record of 16-15-1. The result was nothing new for the Cottonpickers, who have now won ten games by nine runs or more so far this season.

For Robstown's part, Kayleigh Espinoza was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Espinoza was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

As of now, neither King nor Robstown have any future games scheduled.
