            Basketball Recap: Buckland Sissauni vs. Skagway Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Buckland can now relate to. They took  a  53-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Skagway Panthers on Friday. The  contest marked the Sissauni's lowest-scoring  game so far this season.
  Royce Borst continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Skagway,  dropping  a double-double with 28  points and 13  boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Borst has scored at least a third of Skagway's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Camden Lawson, who  went 7-for-12  on his way to 14 points.
Buckland's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Skagway, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record  this season.
 Buckland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Skagway, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  71-68  victory against Nunamiut on the 15th.
