Basketball Recap: St. Charles Comes Up Short + How To Watch

St. Charles was the 62-56 winner over Westlake when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. St. Charles took a 53-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westlake on Friday.

When it comes to explaining why St. Charles lost, don't look at Micah Carroll. Despite the final result, he posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tremaine Lee, who had eight points.

Westlake was led to victory by Darius Kemper and Israel Warner. Kemper scored 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds, while Warner dropped a double-double with 15 points and 16 boards. That's the most assists Kemper has posted since back in December of 2024. Dominick Wallace-Lewis was another key player, putting up six points.

St. Charles' record is now 1-1. As for Westlake, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

St. Charles has already played their next matchup, a 64-41 win against Chopticon on the 15th. As for Westlake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 72-70 loss against Gwynn Park on the 13th.
