Volleyball Recap: Merrill Bluejays vs. Northland Pines Eagles
It was a Battle of the Birds when Merrill faced off against Northland Pines on Saturday. The Bluejays came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Bluejays in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.
Merrill wouldn't go down easily and took Northland Pines into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-21, 25-18, 23-25, 15-10.
