Volleyball Recap: Cedar Valley Find Success

Cedar Valley saw some tournament action on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Payson Lions.

Cedar Valley can attribute much of their success to Kahana Franco, who had 14 digs and three assists. Franco has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last three times he's played.

Cedar Valley's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Payson, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-8.

Cedar Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Del Sol on the 25th. As for Payson, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Alta on the 25th.
