Volleyball Recap: Stargate School Starts Season with Win at Home

Stargate School gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Arrupe Jesuit Generals as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Generals, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Stargate School took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-5, 25-15.

Stargate School had a senior duo take command as Morgan Stitzer had 18 digs and three aces and Rhyana Winkelhake had eight aces and five digs.

Stargate School was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Stargate School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Brush on the 23rd. As for Arrupe Jesuit, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against The Academy on the 26th.
