Softball Recap: San Dimas Comes Up Short

San Dimas was the 4-1 winner over Alta Loma when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Saints fell just short of the Braves by a score of 6-5 on Friday.

Morgan Haygood made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Medina, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

San Dimas' loss dropped their record down to 11-7-1. As for Alta Loma, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. San Dimas is set to face off against their familiar foe South Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Alta Loma will square off against rival Los Altos at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
