Baseball Recap: Forest Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Forest can now relate to. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buchholz Bobcats on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-0 defeat last Tuesday.

Forest has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Buchholz, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Buchholz, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-2 victory against Tocoi Creek on the 17th.
