Basketball Game Preview: Greyhills Academy Knights vs. Valley Pirates

Greyhills Academy hasn't had much luck against Valley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Greyhills Academy Knights will take on the Valley Pirates at 6:30 p.m.

Greyhills Academy is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 19th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 50-15 loss at the hands of Hopi.

Valley played in conference for the first time on Thursday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They snuck past Round Valley with a 51-47 victory.

Valley's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-10. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Greyhills Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.

Greyhills Academy took a serious blow against Valley in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 71-36. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Valley's Eric Slim, who posted 31 points. Now that Greyhills Academy knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time?
