Football Game Recap: Douglas vs. Harrisburg

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out between Harrisburg and Douglas. Harrisburg put the hurt on Douglas with a sharp 54-20 win. Followers of Harrisburg probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.

Harrisburg's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 27 points in the first half. Douglas put up 8, so the score was 27-8 at the half. The Harrisburg defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game. The victory bumped Harrisburg's record up to 3-1. Douglas are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.

Next week Harrisburg take on Siuslaw at 7:00 PM. Harrisburg will be strutting in after a victory while Siuslaw will be stumbling in from a defeat. As for Douglas, they will face off against St. Mary's.
