Volleyball Recap: Pomperaug Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pomperaug lost against Nonnewaug back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Chiefs. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 23-25, 25-18.

Elianna Palmieri paced Pomperaug's offense, picking up six kills. Palmieri got some help from Abby O'Connell and her ten assists.

Pomperaug now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Nonnewaug, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Pomperaug will be playing at home against Joel Barlow at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Nonnewaug, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Lakeview on the 9th.
