Softball Recap: Sullivan County Comes Up Short

Sullivan County and Northeast Bradford squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Sullivan County had to settle for second. They fell 4-1 to the Panthers. The Griffins haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Emilia Viveiros spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Sullivan County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mariah Hallabuk, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Sullivan County's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Northeast Bradford, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-7.

As of now, neither Sullivan County nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
