Southern Nash strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Louisburg Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Firebirds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Southern Nash might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Louisburg scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Peyton Cooke paced Southern Nash's offense, picking up 11 kills. Cooke got some help from Abigail Marks and her 28 assists. Cooke was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Southern Nash's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Louisburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.
