Basketball Game Preview: Lafayette Patriots vs. Sunset Park The HEAT

After both having extra time off, the Lafayette Patriots and the Sunset Park The HEAT will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lafayette is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Lafayette lost to Grady on the road by a 67-49 margin. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 684th, while the Falcons are ranked 316th).

Meanwhile, Sunset Park had to suffer through a 79-52 loss at the hands of New Utrecht. The The HEAT have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Sunset Park, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
