After flying high against Bloomfield last Monday, Twin Rivers came back down to earth. The Twin Rivers Royals took a blow against the Puxico Indians on Friday, falling 65-37. The Royals' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Twin Rivers' loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Puxico, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Twin Rivers will face off against Senath-Hornersville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Senath-Hornersville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Twin Rivers likes a good challenge. As for Puxico, they will venture away from home to face off against Doniphan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Puxico's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
