Football Recap: Spalding Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Spalding extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They were beaten by the LaGrange Grangers 41-14. On the bright side, the 14- point effort marked the Jaguars' highest-scoring game to date.

When it comes to explaining why Spalding lost, don't look at Kj Mitchell. Despite the final result, he threw for 123 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 38 yards.

As for LaGrange, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.

LaGrange's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from De Stewart, who rushed for 61 yards and one touchdown.
