After failing to score in their last matchup, South Effingham made sure to put some goals up on the board against Brunswick on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over the Pirates. The result was nothing new for South Effingham, who have now won four games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Brunswick from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

South Effingham pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three contests. As for Brunswick, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

South Effingham didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Long County on the 2nd. As for Brunswick, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Valdosta at 5:00 p.m. on the 11th.
