Football Game Preview: Cedar Reds vs. Ogden Tigers + Official Tickets

The Cedar Reds will square off against the Ogden Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Cedar is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Cedar is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped two weeks ago as they easily beat Carbon 63-0. Considering the Reds have won six matchups by more than 20 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Cedar's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Everett Kelling, who threw for 165 yards and three touchdowns while completing 91.7% of his passes, and Braxton Demille, who rushed for 105 yards and one score on only ten carries. The dominant performance also gave Kelling a new career-high in passer rating (170.1).

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Cedar was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 278 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 186 rushing yards in seven consecutive games.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ogden had no problem doing just that on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Falcons 14-12.

Cedar's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Ogden, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
