Fayette Academy got themselves on the board against First Assembly Christian on Monday, but First Assembly Christian never followed suit. They were the clear victor by a 15-0 margin over the First Assembly Christian Crusaders. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Paige Ladner, who scored three runs and stole Five bases. while going 3-for-3. Kasey Kimery was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

The win made it two in a row for Fayette Academy and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Fayette Academy is headed away from home for the first time to face off against University School of Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for First Assembly Christian, they will host Northpoint Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northpoint Christian knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully First Assembly Christian likes a good challenge.
