Baseball Game Preview: Rocktown Raptors vs. Luray Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Rocktown will face off against Luray. Rocktown will challenge Luray at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Rocktown is leaving town to face Luray after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Rocktown fell 7-3 to Luray on Friday.

For Luray's part, Eli Wood was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Wood was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Trey Guzy was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, one triple, and one double. Another player making a difference was Landon Pettit, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Rocktown couldn't quite get it done against Luray when the teams last played on Friday as they fell 7-3. Can Rocktown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
