Manchester is a perfect 3-0 against Highland Springs since December of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Lancers will square off against the Springers at 7:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

While Lancers fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They blew past Monacan 94-25 on Tuesday. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Highland Springs took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 63-37 margin over Deep Run.

Highland Springs' win came from a few key players Manchester will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Amirah Collins, who posted 15 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesiah Young, who earned 18 points.

Manchester strolled past Highland Springs when the teams last played back in February by a score of 42-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lancers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
