Baseball Recap: Springlake-Earth Comes Up Short

Springlake-Earth scored first but ultimately less than Lockney in their game on Saturday. They lost 15-1 to the Lockney Longhorns. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Longhorns recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Springlake-Earth's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Lockney, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Springlake-Earth wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-7 loss against Hale Center on the 10th. As for Lockney, they will host New Deal at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
