Baseball Game Preview: Armstrong Trojans vs. Seeger Patriots

The Armstrong Trojans will challenge the Seeger Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Armstrong's pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so Seeger's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Armstrong is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Salt Fork just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 4-1 to the Storm.

Meanwhile, Seeger unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 12-3 to Western Boone on Monday.

Seeger saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xavier Lang, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Armstrong's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Seeger, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
