Preview: Kennedy Eagles vs. Ansonia Chargers
Kennedy is 8-0 against Ansonia since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Kennedy Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Ansonia Chargers at 7:00 p.m. Kennedy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 256 points over their last four games.
Even though Watertown scored an imposing 58 points on Wednesday, Kennedy still came out on top. Kennedy came out on top in a nail-biter against Watertown and snuck past 60-58. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Kennedy has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Ansonia beat Derby 48-44 on Friday. The victory was just what Ansonia needed coming off of a 85-46 defeat in their prior game.
Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Ansonia, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Everything went Kennedy's way against Ansonia when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as Kennedy made off with a 81-61 victory. Will Kennedy repeat their success, or does Ansonia have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
