The Mount Tabor Spartans will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Calvary Day School Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Mount Tabor is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Atkins. Mount Tabor blew past Atkins 13-3 on Wednesday.

Jah'Quez Braboy and Charlie Young made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Braboy tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Young pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. At bat, Braboy scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Young scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
