Football Game Preview: Chambers/Wheeler Central/Ewing vs. St. Mary's

On Thursday St. Mary's take on Chambers/Wheeler Central/Ewing at 7:00 PM. Both teams worked hard to overcome the odds in their previous battles and are not about to give an easy one away.

St. Mary's have had to suffer through a 3-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Last Friday, they secured a 20-16 W over Stuart. No one put up better numbers for St. Mary's than freshman Aidan Hedstrom, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 124 yards and 2 touchdowns. In fact, with ten tackles Hedstrom was a force on both sides of the ball.

Chambers/Wheeler Central/Ewing can thank their lucky stars for their win over Twin Loup. The final score was a hard-fought 14-13. The success made it back-to-back wins for Chambers/Wheeler Central/Ewing.
