Soccer Recap: Nimitz Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Nimitz Vikings didn't have quite enough to beat the MacArthur Cardinals and fell 3-2. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nimitz's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for MacArthur, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-9.

Nimitz and MacArthur could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Nimitz (ranked 465th) will meet Berkner (ranked 186th) at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, MacArthur will take on Lake Highlands at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday down 479 places (542 vs. 63).
