Basketball Recap: Manley Makes It 11 in a Row at Home

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manley). They blew past the Phoenix Military Firebirds, posting a 68-0 victory. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 17-16 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Manley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaklaya Hunter out in front who dropped a double-double with 29 points and 14 steals. The contest was Hunter's 22nd in a row with at least 16 points. DeAhri Hayes was another key player, dropping a double-double with 22 points and ten rebounds.

Manley was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Manley's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-4.

Coincidentally, Manley and Phoenix Military will both be playing Wells the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Firebirds will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
