Baseball Recap: Wayne Memorial Comes Up Short

Wayne Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Churchill Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 on Wednesday.

Wayne Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Churchill, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-4-1.

Looking ahead, Wayne Memorial will take on Plymouth at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Zebras surely won't give up without a fight. As for Churchill, they will face off against Salem at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
