Volleyball Recap: Washington's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Six

While Washington's victory against Northeast Dubois wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hatchets had just enough and edged out the Jeeps 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Hatchets as they're now sitting on six straight.

Danica Dowling paced Washington's offense, picking up seven kills. Dowling got some help from Addy Williams and her 14 assists. Shay Hawk controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Northeast Dubois, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Washington has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against South Knox on the 25th. As for Northeast Dubois, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Tecumseh on the 25th.
