Volleyball Recap: Maumee Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Maumee's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Eastwood Eagles 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Eagles back in September, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

While Maumee won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-14, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Eastwood saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Stella Cheblowski had 17 digs and three aces.

Maumee's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8. As for Eastwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
