Baseball Recap: Soledad Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Soledad can now relate to. They fell just short of the Menlo School Knights by a score of 4-3 on Saturday.

Soledad saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vidal Perez, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Soledad's loss dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Menlo School, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Soledad does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Menlo School, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-5 win against Piedmont Hills on the 27th.
