Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Ripley). They claimed a resounding 79-42 win over the Rising Sun Shiners. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 24 points or more this season.

Carrigan Friend and Tamryn Miller certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Friend posted 13 points, while Miller earned ten points. Addie Fancher also deserves some recognition as she pulled down her first rebound of the season.

The victory was the third in a row for South Ripley, bringing their record for this year to 10-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Rising Sun, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

South Ripley has already played their next game, a 58-46 defeat against Oldenburg Academy on the 18th. As for Rising Sun, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-35 loss against South Dearborn on the 17th.
