After a string of three wins, Milford's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 7-3 to the Taunton Tigers. The Scarlet Hawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Olivia Baglione was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Milford's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Taunton, they pushed their record up to 18-0 with the victory, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milford will host Hopedale at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Taunton, they will be playing at home against Bishop Feehan at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
