Laney faced Hoggard in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Buccaneers and the Vikings finished up their matchup with a 4-4 draw. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of four yellow cards before it was all over.

Laney hit Hoggard with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Noah Tidey, Alvaro Hernandez Rodriguez, Bishop Babcock-Giles, and Conner Wall.

Meanwhile, Hoggard will square off against rival Ashley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Hoggard have won six straight at home, while Ashley won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
