Carthage put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 61-56 W against the Athens Hornets. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

The Bulldogs (ranked 30th) will meet Bullard (ranked 538th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 953 yards in their previous games. Meanwhile, Athens will take on Rusk at 7:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (219 vs. 639).
