It was a Battle of the Birds when Liberty faced off against Staley on Saturday. The Blue Jays sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Falcons. This was a revenge game for Liberty: when they faced off against Staley back in March, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

Liberty has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those eight contests. As for Staley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Liberty will be playing at home against Park Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Park Hill will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Liberty surely won't give up without a fight. Staley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
