Nampa Christian and Parma are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Trojans will challenge the Panthers at 11:15 a.m. on Friday. Nampa Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.

Nampa Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Parma, who was ranked 18th at the time (Nampa Christian was ranked 21st). The Trojans walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Panthers last Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on three straight.

For Parma's part, Wesli Crockett spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and seven unearned) runs on eight hits.

At the plate, Lakota Leppert made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinlea Cole, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Parma is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Nampa Christian, their record now sits at 16-4.
