Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Mt. Mansfield + How To Watch

Mt. Mansfield had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Montpelier Solons 3-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mt. Mansfield took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 25-9.

Grady Tacy-Munroe paced Mt. Mansfield's offense, picking up four kills. Tacy-Munroe got some help from Holden Lerner and his ten assists. Johnny Berman controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Mt. Mansfield's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Montpelier, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mt. Mansfield will challenge rival Essex at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Montpelier is set to face off against their familiar foe Bellows Free Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
