Hoppe Posts Huge Game in 48-14 Defeat
Starting off the list is Northern Cass's Matthew Hoppe, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hoppe rushed for 156 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 86 yards.
Hillsboro/Central Valley's probably not too fond of Hoppe given he always seems to get the better of them. When Hoppe last faced the H-CV Burros back in September of 2023, he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.

While Oakes might've come up empty on Friday, Christopher Titus wasn't going down without a fight. Titus was dynamite, rushing for four yards.
Oakes dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Titus and Oakes will challenge Langdon/Edmore/Munich on Saturday.

While Thompson might've come up empty on Friday, Karter Peterson wasn't going down without a fight. Peterson was dynamite, picking up 32 receiving yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made a tackle.
For the season, Peterson has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 27.1 receiving yards per game.

Brody Geston Makes It Two for Northern Cass
The second Northern Cass player making an appearance here is Brody Geston, and for good reason. He picked up 56 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 56 yards.
For the season, Geston has averaged 5.3 total tackles per game.
