Basketball Game Preview: South Fork Bulldogs vs. Port St. Lucie Jaguars

South Fork has gone 10-0 against Port St. Lucie recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The South Fork Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Port St. Lucie Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. South Fork comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

South Fork is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Treasure Coast on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. South Fork was dealt a 78-15 defeat at the hands of Treasure Coast. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-7.

South Fork's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Molly Nicholas, who posted 12 points, and Vivianna Morales, who put up two points along with six rebounds and four blocks. Morales is crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, Port St. Lucie was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 44-40 to St. Edward's. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Port St. Lucie, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
