Thomas A. Edison put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Olney Trojans 14-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Owls also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2025.

Junior Rodriguez was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two doubles.

In other batting news, Erick Torres-Brito was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Yonser Bautista Mota was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

Thomas A. Edison was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .593. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher in 11 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Thomas A. Edison's record now sits at 8-0. As for Olney, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.
