Harlan has gone a perfect 8-0 against Holmes recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Harlan will head out on the road to challenge Holmes at 4:45 p.m. Harlan will be strutting in after a victory while Holmes will be coming in after a loss.

Harlan is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over Marshall on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Holmes came up short against Sotomayor on Friday, falling 13-3. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the WILDCATS recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Holmes saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raymundo Vasquez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. Those two hits gave Vasquez a new career-high. Nicolas Greco also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Holmes' defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Harlan, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.

Everything went Harlan's way against Holmes in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Harlan made off with a 7-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Harlan since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
