After flying high against Legacy Christian Academy on Wednesday, Ansonia came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the Fort Recovery Indians by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lillian Perry was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Miley Walls was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Ansonia's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Fort Recovery, their record now sits at 12-9.

Coming up, Ansonia will face off against St. Henry at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Fort Recovery does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
