Oklahoma Bible fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Davenport on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 5-4. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Jacoby Justus made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and two doubles. He is becoming a predictor of Oklahoma Bible's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-1 (and 12-13 when he doesn't). Andrew Campbell was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Oklahoma Bible's defeat dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Davenport, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-8.
