Recap: Tome Titans vs. Salisbury Christian
The Tome Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 37 points or more this season. They breezed by Salisbury Christian on the road to the tune of 77-30. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Tome has managed all season.
Tome got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Herold Beljour Jr. out in front who scored 17 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The matchup was Beljour Jr.'s seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Griffith, who scored nine points along with six steals and five rebounds.
The victory was the third in a row for Tome, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 41 points. As for Salisbury Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
Tome won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Faith Baptist School at 11:45 a.m. on December 28th. Salisbury Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Delmarva Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
