Softball Game Preview: Kennedy Eagles vs. De Anza Dons

The Kennedy Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the De Anza Dons at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Swett hit Kennedy with a 12-run fifth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles lost 13-3 to the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for De Anza's offense. They came up short against Alhambra on Wednesday, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Dons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for De Anza, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Kennedy might still be hurting after the 11-1 loss they got from De Anza in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
